INVITATION TO THE „WATER LOSS DETECTIVES” 2020 WORKSHOP
Hydraulic modelling – applications for the water loss reduction
March 19-20, 2020
Dear Sir or Madam,
Aquademica Foundation, the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest and the “Water Loss Detectives” magazine, are organizing a workshop of practical applications on the topic of „Hydraulic modelling – applications in the water loss reduction”. The partners of this event are: Polytechnic University of Timișoara, as well as INAS and Bentley Systems companies. The sessions will take place at the Hydrotechnics Department of the Polytechnic University of Timișoara (George Enescu street, No. 1/A).
Topics covered: introduction to water loss; pressure management; DMA (District Metering Area) analysis and optimization; data acquisition; rehabilitation prioritization; energy efficiency; hydraulic parameters modelling.
Target audience: water companies engineers working in the GIS/modelling, water loss detection or design engineering departments; advisory and design engineering companies; students and university professors.
Participants will receive: electronic course materials; graduation/training certificate.
