Non-Revenue Water (NRW) projects are not new in Malaysia, with most States having undertaken one either internally or through a third party contractor. Many of these projects have been holistic and performance based, ensuring that success is rewarded. The issue comes with sustaining the results of any short term project and ensuring the NRW levels do not start to rise again.
